gathering round the fire

These were taken on the sunday night .. i spent many enjoyable hours that night in an old war bunker stomping madstyle to some proper ol' raggajungle .. great fun!
Spent the saturday night in the bunkers dancing to Vegas spinning funky joints & oldschool hiphop .. gutted i left at 4am because it seems i missed Dreadzone doing a guest spot after ;( ... but i did see them last thing that night at the actual festival - oh how i enjoyed dancing to that!! ;D
What i really want to know though ... is .. who were the band who played in the bunker under the tent sometime between 12&2am on the sat night?? they were so damn cool - loved their style & i wanna see more more more! ;)

my trip down the lane

These were taken on my trip home at 6am on the saturday morning .. not really sure why i took them! but i was glad they came out so similar to my vision as i stumbled down the steep path!!
After the festivities i spent the next 6 hours around a huge fire, enjoying the vibe, & having a massive laugh with some mates & random strangers (although in reality(?), none of us were strangers ... strange maybe, but all one big family of happy revellers!).
The start of my journey home took me across fields - reminiscent of a desolate landscape, complete with moody skies, a gusty wind, & loads of crows ... before i headed deep down into the depths of the woods via the path where i took the above photos.

There may be no post again tomorrow .. i'm either at a mates, or doing some overtime, & i doubt i can be bothered when i get home tomorrow (unless i sort it out now maybe?)

Scribes @ Maker

ok... so again apologies for my big-time slackness in my posting recently ... although i do of course have a perfectly valid reason .. i was up at the Maker Sunshine Festival for most of my waking hours! WOW .. quite simply .. so so much fun, all night, every night! Great music (of all genres), excellent ales, & amazing people, all with the best views in the West! I met so many wonderful people (i can't remember who they were, but i remember meeting them! lol) & had so much fun in the early hours of the morning, sitting around the fire, or dancing like a loon in the bunkers! I'm already counting down the days to next year!!

unfortunately, for reasons beyond my grasp, i didn't get round to taking many photos!! lol ;) but i did take some, & i'll post them up for you .. these ones were taken on the friday night .. some nice hiphop with beatboxing
